White Canvas Earth is a premium , sustainable fashion brand. Featuring Organic certificates along side weaving in small villages of Turkey and India. Sustainably produced and ethically made in Istanbul Turkey, the collection includes womenswear , menswear, home-wear and accessories.
Our cotton yarns are sourced from Chennai India known as "kala cotton" and handwoven in Shile town near Istanbul. We produce in-house in Turkey and in India .
We also proudly have 3 physical stores at present where we cater our loving clientele who is interested in handwoven.
Our creative head and designer "Sapna Raj" is originally from India but moved to Turkey. Coming from rich origin of handwoven she realised the need for hand-woven in Turkey. She herself being allergic to polyester she realised need for good cotton in Istanbul.
Hand-weaving in Turkey is known as lost art , we found regions where small communities still weave with looms. We work with small family who especially weaves for us. After an year research we received GOTs certificate for organic cotton from Turkish Government.
In India we work on old technique named as Dobby , weaving 3 thin fabrics together we create any textures.
