A wearable art collaboration between Cologne-based visual artist Sarah Szczesny and designer Sapna Raj of White Canvas. Conceived during Szczesny’s residency at Istanbul’s Cultural Academy Tarabya, the project bridges fine art and sustainable, slow-fashion craftsmanship.

The collection began as 32 meters of intuitive, note-like paintings created on handwoven Şile fabric from Turkey's Black Sea coast. Handed over to Sapna Raj, the painted canvas was cut, deconstructed, and reconstructed into unique, one-of-a-kind garments. Blending Indian and Turkish textile traditions with fine art, each piece is a living carrier of memory, movement, and collaborative authorship.
