White Canvas was born in 2020 — in the quiet chaos of the pandemic — when founder Sapna Raj took one of the first flights from India to Turkey, carrying with her nothing but a suitcase and a dream.
In Istanbul, she began working closely with local weavers, blending India’s timeless craft traditions with Turkey’s textile artistry. What started as a one-woman studio soon grew into a small, dedicated team — artisans, designers, and dreamers — crafting clothing that breathes, moves, and feels alive.
As the brand evolved, an in-house production team in India became essential to preserve traditional techniques and ensure every fabric carried its own story. Today, White Canvas is woven between two homes — India and Turkey — connected by the same thread of craftsmanship, honesty, and slow creation.

Allergic to polyester, Sapna turned her sensitivity into purpose.
